Structures		Designed a concrete roof structure according to ACI 318 – 05 code.
			Designed a steel truss structure.

Traffic engineering	Solved some traffic problems in parts in Dubai, with Dr. Akmal Abdulfattah 

Materials	Designed a concrete mix respecting different parameters, with Dr. Adel Al-Tamimi 

Roads			Designed some major roads in Dubai, with Dr. Akmal Abdulfattah 

Environments	Participated in an environmental competition held in American University of Sharjah (Feb. 2007) with a research paper about air pollution in UAE.

Summer 2007 	Summer technical training at Roads and Transportation Authority – Dubai 
	Tasks:
1- Reviewed bills of quantities for different projects.
2- Prepared weekly regular report.
3- Supervised some bridge construction sites.
4- Computed amounts of steel and concrete from the drawings.


Spring 2007 	Received optional technical training in the civil engineering department in Saleh Constructions Company from 28-12-2006 to 27-01-2007 in a residential buildings project and worked as full site engineer for 8 hours daily.
		Tasks:
1- Controlled the labor distribution.
2- Supervised the work flow … etc.
Observed different special cases in the five buildings along with the responsible engineer.
